Penalty for failing to put residence
I brought my wife and 2 children to Kuwait on family visas in 2010. I was able to get residence for my wife and one of the children.
Because of financial constraints, I wasn’t able to do the residence for the other child and the penalty is now nearly KD 600/-.
Is there a way the government can help me to reduce the penalty? I really should have done the residence but the money was just not there.

Answer: There is no way around the penalty and you can’t have it waived. You will run into trouble when the residence of your wife and the other child are up for renewal because until you pay your dues, their residence will not be renewed. The same could happen to your residence. So, the only thing you can do is arrange the money and get the residence stamped.
