Bangladeshi found dead in car Foul play suspected
KUWAIT CITY, Nov 30: A Bangladeshi man believed to be in his early 30s was found dead inside a vehicle in Jleeb Shuyoukh area, opposite the Sixth Ring Road.
Criminal Evidences Men rushed to the scene and referred the body to Forensics for autopsy. Security operatives suspect foul play, and so a case has been registered for investigation.
Woman harassed: An Iranian woman reported to officers in Shuwaikh police station that she was harassed by an officer affiliated to the Ministry of Interior who tried to issue a traffic citation against her.
2 held with liquor: Two Asians were arrested by Farwaniya securitymen with bottles of imported liquor in their keep. They have since been referred to the relevant authority for necessary action.
Family hurt: A family of 12 children and a Kuwaiti suffered various degrees of burns and inhaled smoke when fire engulfed their house in Sabahiya.
Acting on information, securitymen and paramedics accompanied firefighters to the scene to help the victims. They were referred to the Adan Hospital by paramedics, as firemen managed to douse the flames.
Absconder nabbed: A Bedoun man dodging a five-year imprisonment term for various criminal offenses was apprehended by security operatives at a checkpoint along the Arabian Gulf Street near Salmiya when he tried to flee from police.
Sources said police chased and arrested the man after he had tried in vain to escape. He was referred to the relevant authority.
Juvenile thieves held: Two juveniles who specialized in breaking into people’s cars to steal mobile phones have been arrested by police and referred to the concerned authority.
