Net chat leads to minor girl losing chastity
KUWAIT CITY, Nov 29:A Kuwaiti woman has filed a complaint with the Jahra police accusing a youth of raping her minor daughter, reports Alam Alyawm daily.
The mother said the youth befriended her daughter while chatting with her on the Internet and promised to marry her.
He then allegedly lured her to visit him inside a camp and raped her. Police are looking for the suspect.
Maid breaks child’s arm: Police have arrested a Sri Lankan housemaid who is believed to be in her 30s for breaking the arm of a 3-year-old Kuwaiti child, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The lady sponsor left the child in the care of the housemaid inside a commercial complex in Qibla and went shopping.
According to reports the boy kept crying and in a fit of anger the maid allegedly twisted the arm of the child causing the bone to dislocate.
A salesman who witnessed the incident complained to the victim’s mother when she returned. The child was taken to the Amiri Hospital.
Grocery ransacked: Police are looking for unidentified burglars who broke into a grocery in Fahaheel and escaped with KD 350 cash, cigarettes and prepaid telephone cards worth KD 450 and soft drinks worth KD 170, reports Al-Rai daily.
Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department have lifted fingerprints to identify the culprits.
Arab expat mugged: Police are looking for four unidentified persons for attacking an Arab man while walking in an open area in Salmiya and stealing from him KD 280 cash and two cell phones, reports Al-Rai daily.
After committing the theft the men drove off in a four-wheel drive. A complaint has been filed with the Salmiya Police Station.
The man told police one of the men was armed with a knife.
Last customer thief: Police are looking for an unidentified person, believed to be an Arab, for assaulting an Asian worker inside a cafÈ in Fahaheel and stealing KD 250 from him, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The Arab reportedly was the last customer to leave the cafÈ at dawn and he allegedly stole the money and escaped on foot.
