Duo harasses girl for refusing to swap phone numbers Trio flees without paying taxi driver

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 26: A Kuwaiti woman in her 20s reported to Salmiya police station that two male compatriots attacked and physically harassed her.
The woman explained she was trekking with her friend along the Arabian Gulf Road when suddenly the suspects approached and tried to exchange phone numbers with them. She said one of the men sprayed water on her when she refused to take the number and then fled in their car. She provided police with the registration number of the suspects’ car plus their physical description. A case was registered against them.

Pakistani mugged: Police are looking for five youths who allegedly beat up a Pakistani expatriate in Saad Al-Abdullah area and snatched his wallet containing KD 200 and his mobile phone before escaping. The victim had filed a police complaint.
Meanwhile, a Pakistani taxi driver filed a report with Hawalli policemen saying three people wearing the national dress had cheated him.
He narrated that the suspects waved him down in Salmiya to take them to Hawalli and he agreed. He said the trio fled the scene immediately after they alighted from the taxi without paying the fare. Police have since taken their description for investigation.

Flat broken into: A Syrian man in his 30s lodged a complaint in Salmiya police station and said thieves broke into his apartment and made away with KD 300 cash plus jewelry worth KD 1,500.
The complainant explained he went out with his family and was surprised when they returned home and discovered that thieves had looted the apartment. Detectives rushed to the scene and lifted fingerprints for investigation.
