Indian decapitated in mishap Kuwaiti crushed under wheels
KUWAIT CITY, Nov 26: A 31-year-old Indian worker was killed on the spot in a tragic accident that took place in an under construction building on Salhiya Street, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
When the victim had opened the door of the elevator at the project site, the elevator reportedly fell on him and separated his head from the body.
Kuwaiti crushed: A Kuwaiti man, believed in his 40, died on the spot when a Kuwaiti woman motorist ran over him while he was crossing a road that connects the Third Ring Road with the Cairo Street, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The remains of the victim were referred to Forensics, while the woman was referred to police station for questioning.
Expats nabbed: Securitymen have arrested two expatriates who were wanted by law for issuing dud cheques, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
Intense investigations conducted by securitymen led to the arrest of a Syrian who was wanted for issuing a dud cheque worth KD 19,000 and a Jordanian for issuing a cheque worth KD 25,000.
The expatriates were arrested in Shuwaikh Industrial Area.
Pakistanis robbed: Police are looking for a burglar who broke into the flat of three Pakistanis while they were fast asleep and escaped with their mobile phones and KD 450, reports Al-Anba daily.
Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department lifted fingerprints from the scene to identify the culprits.
Thief caught: Police have arrested an unidentified person for stealing from campsites in Mina Abdullah, reports Al-Rai daily.
Police, acting on information, had rushed to a camping area and succeeded in catching the thief red-handed. The thief had left his car beside a camp and police had towed it away. The thief then claimed that there was KD 7,000 in the car and accused policemen of stealing the sum.
On checking records, police found that the man had a criminal record. Investigations are going on.
Power stolen: Police have arrested an Egyptian man for stealing electricity from Abdali polyclinic, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. The man allegedly connected a cable from the electrical transformer of Abdali polyclinic to his chalet without the approval of authorities. A case has been registered.
Device stolen: Police are looking for an unidentified person for stealing a device used for identifying fingerprints from a police car affiliated to Farwaniya security directorate, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The thief took advantage of the fact that the door of the police vehicle was open and the officer was busy handing over an impounded car to a garage in Sabhan and stole the device.
