Remains of new-born baby found at Flag Square
KUWAIT CITY, Nov 24: The remains of a newborn baby were found buried at the Flag Square. A laborer working at the site found the remains while he was digging.
Boys or girls?: Police arrested two cross-dressers in Salmiya area and referred them to authorities for further action. Patrol officers had stopped a vehicle for routine inspection and had asked the occupants — two girls — to show their identity cards. It was then that the officers realized that the girls were actually two young boys dressed as girls.
Absconder held: Police arrested a wanted Kuwaiti man at a checkpoint in Hawalli area and referred him to authorities. The Kuwaiti was wanted for failing to pay dues worth KD 13,000.
Iranian mugged: Police are looking for two men who allegedly forced an Iranian expatriate to sign on a promissory note worth KD 1,000, stole his mobile phone and escaped. The Iranian had filed a complaint and said he knew both the men.
Trust betrayed: Police arrested a Lebanese man, against whom a company had filed a breach of trust case, at a police checkpoint in Hawalli area. The man was referred to authorities.
