Kuwaiti stabs compatriot teen in fight over mall car parking

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 22: Police are looking for an unidentified Kuwaiti man for allegedly attempting to murder another man, reports Alam Alyawm daily.
The suspect was allegedly involved in an argument with a 19-year-old compatriot over a car parking space near a well-known mall in Salmiya.
He reportedly lost his temper, pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim and drove off. The victim has been hospitalized.
Meanwhile, police have requested to see the CCTV footage to arrest the suspect.

Fight over money: The Ahmadi police have arrested two Asians in connection with a murder attempt, reports Al-Rai daily.
A police source said the suspects were involved in a fight with a compatriot on money issues and one of them reportedly stabbed the victim in the stomach and escaped.
The compatriot has been admitted to a hospital. The suspects were arrested at an unidentified location after intensive investigations.

Gang thrashes man: Police are looking for four unidentified young men for beating a Kuwaiti man, an employee of the National Guard, reports Al-Rai daily.
The daily added the victim was driving along a road in Mutla’a and the suspects allegedly forced him to pull over and attacked ‘for no reason.’
The victim has been admitted to a hospital with fractures and other injuries.

‘Mandoub’ misuses authority: Police are interrogating a citizen of an unidentified GCC state who worked as a company representative for forging the signature of the Kuwaiti owner of the company, reports Al-Rai daily.
The Kuwaiti has filed a complaint with the Salmiya Police Station. In his complaint the man said the suspect forged his signature and used his ID to purchase cars and sell cars without his knowledge.
During interrogation the man is said to have admitted to the charge. He has been handed over to the concerned authorities.

Contract violated: The Director of the General Services Department at the Ministry of Education Waleed Al-Ghaith has called on the concerned department to take legal action against a company for violating the terms of a contract and failing to import 38 service vehicles, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
Al-Ghaith has called on the ministry to activate Article 7 of the general conditions of the tender to make way for taking legal procedures.

Top official assaulted: Police have taken into custody the head of a section of for allegedly assaulting the assistant undersecretary of the ministry, reports Al-Rai daily.
The daily added the suspect was arrested soon after a warrant for his arrest was issued.
However, the daily without going into details said the suspect was arrested what it called ‘by chance’ by a police patrol in Salmiya.

Debts unpaid: Police have arrested an Arab man who was wanted by law for committing a financial felony worth KD 1,700, reports Alam Alyawm daily.
Police on routine duty in Salmiya suspected the man and when they checked his records they discovered he had been sentenced in absentia for failing to pay debts to a company.
The man has been handed over to the Sentences Enforcement Department.

Asian hurt in fight:
A 40-year-old Asian suffered multiple injuries when he engaged in a fistfight with three compatriots in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh recently, reports Alam Alyawm daily.
According to sources, securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location after the Operations Room received information on the incident. The injured was referred to Farwaniya Hospital.
Police are now looking for the three others involved in the fight as they fled from the scene after sensing security presence.
