The 13th CBSE Kuwait Cluster Inter-School Football Tournament hosted by Jabriya Indian School took place on Oct 30 and continued till Nov 1 at Mishref football ground. About 13 Indian Schools participated and the match was played on a league-cum knock out basis. The Tournament was inaugurated by Manasique, personal and Administration Manager Al Mulla Inter-national Exchange Company. The Indian Public School emerged victorious defeating Jabriya Indian School. In the League match JIS defeated IES score 3-0, IPS defeated ICSK score 3-0. In the quarter-finals JIS defeated ICSK with the score of 1-0. IPS crushed IES score 5-1. IEAS defeated FAIPS scores 1-0, ICS won against UIS score 1-0. In the semifinals JIS come out victorious against IEAS score 4-1. In the 2nd semifinals IPS defeated ICS score 1-0. It was indeed heartening to see the young players bursting with energy and enthusiasm, to exhibit their skill and expertise of the game.

The important dignitaries and guests for the closing ceremony included, Chief Guest Rajesh Gairola, General Manager Al-Mulla International Exchange Company, Husaifa, Assistant Marketing Manager, Al Mulla Exchange Company, Afsal Khan, Manager , Malabar Gold, Ibrahim Shaji, Sales Manager, Malabar Gold, and JIS Principal Dr Shobha Vaddadhi were also present. The Chief Guest Rajesh Gairola, along with the JIS Principal handed over the prestigious trophy to the IPS team who were the winner while. Afsal Khan and Ibrahim Shaji distributed the certificates, medals and Trophy to the JIS team who were the runners up of the tournament. Special individual awards and medal were given by the principal. The Best Player of the Tournament was Karam Mohd Akar and the Top Scorer of the Tournament was Hassan Ali, both the students were from Jabriya Indian School. The best performer of the Tournament was Fawaz Ahmed Mahmoud of Indian Education School. the matches were being officiated by IFRA (Indian Football Referees Association), the only expatriate refereeing body in Kuwait.
