I have been working in a private company since July 2003. I also brought my wife to Kuwait on a work permit. She worked 3 years. During that period I brought my children here too. Now my children are studying in Kuwait. Unfortunately my wife left Kuwait for some domestic problems in our native place over 6 months ago and her residence has been cancelled. I am drawing a monthly salary KD 220.
Now, I am planning to bring my wife back to Kuwait on a family visa (that is on my sponsorship). Without my wife it is so difficult to maintain ourselves. Is it possible the rules and regulations permit me to bring her back?

Answer: The current immigration regulations do not allow you to bring your wife back because your salary does not meet the conditions. But since you have your children here, your should see the Director General of the Immigration Department and explain to him your situation. Otherwise, you can bring her on a work permit if any firm is ready to provide her a jobs.
