Two policemen abduct, rape 14-year-old Kuwaiti female Drug traffickers held

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 17: The Hawalli police have arrested two securitymen (one of them a first sergeant) working for the Ministry of Interior and are looking for another accomplice for allegedly kidnapping and raping a 14-year-old Kuwaiti girl, reports Al-Jaridah daily.
The arrest came after the victim’s mother filed a complaint with the Rumaithiya Police Station.
In her complaint the woman said the suspects kidnapped her daughter and held her captive inside an apartment in Salmiya and raped her successively.
After raping her they dropped her from where they had picked her and threatened to blackmail her if she went to police. During interrogation the victim admitted that she knows one of the accused. She also told the interrogators the main accused requested her to stand in front of her house saying he wanted to see her.
She added the suspect came with two of his friends and lured her to take a ride with them. Then they took her to an apartment and raped her. After the victim provided the car plate number of the suspect police picked him from his home in Abdullah Al-Mubarak area. At the time of his arrest one of the accomplices was with him.
They have been referred to the concerned authorities.

Drug traffickers held: Two Asians were arrested in Mishref for trafficking in drugs with 20 grams of heroin; 1,500 narcotic pills and cash amounting to KD1,800 in their possession.
According to a press statement from the Interior Ministry Thursday, the Drug Control General Department (DCGD) received information on the illegal activities of the two Asians. This led to the formation of a team of anti-narcotics officers, who put the suspects under surveillance to verify the information.
After ascertaining the two were trading in drugs, the officers obtained a search and arrest warrant from the Public Prosecution. They coordinated with the sponsors of the suspects before carrying out the arrest procedures. The officers raided the rooms of the suspects, resulting in the discovery of the heroin, narcotic pills and cash.

During interrogation, the suspects admitted the crime, saying the cash found in their rooms was part of their earnings from selling drugs. They were referred to the concerned security department for the necessary legal action.

Elderly man stabbed: Police have arrested an unidentified Kuwaiti for stabbing an elderly Syrian man, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
According to reports this happened when the suspect was harassing the man’s 22-year-old daughter and when the victim objected to the behavior, he stabbed the man. The victim has been admitted to the intensive care unit of the Amiri Hospital.

Deported to Kuwait: Three bedoun brothers who were arrested by the Moroccan authorities for entering the country on forged Danish passports have been released and subsequently ‘deported’ to Kuwait, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to knowledgeable diplomatic sources during interrogation the bedoun admitted to carrying forged Danish passports. During interrogation they said they were planning to infiltrate into Spain.
The forgery was discovered when the Moroccan authorities contacted the Danish authorities to check the authenticity of the documents.

Bootlegger caught: The Jahra police have arrested an unidentified Asian man for bootlegging, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The daily quoting security sources said the man was caught on suspicion while driving at an unidentified location.
Police are said to have seized from the man bottles of booze and KD 300 in cash, believed to be proceeds from sale of booze. He has been handed over to a police station.

‘We are shepherds’: The Saudi security authorities have handed over two Ethiopians to their Kuwaiti counterparts, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
According to reports the men were arrested by the Saudi authorities after they had illegally crossed over into the Saudi territory.
During interrogation the men said they are shepherds and they mistakenly entered the Saudi territory while grazing their cattle.
They have been referred to the concerned authorities.
