Kuwaiti held for damaging perfume shop in fight
KUWAIT CITY, Nov 15: A Kuwaiti man engaged the owner of a perfume shop in a fight at Farwaniya and damaged items worth KD 400.
Sources said the citizen had gone to the shop to buy perfume. However, he returned in a little while complaining he wasn’t satisfied with the purchase made and wanted to collect his money but the shop owner refused, and so the citizen became incensed and started breaking items in the shop, and they exchanged blows.
Acting on information, a rescue team was deployed to the scene to maintain order, and they referred the citizen to the concerned authority. A case has since been registered against him.
5 Kuwaitis rescued: Marine rescue teams rescued five Kuwaitis whose boat developed a snag in the middle of the sea and had started sinking on Tuesday.
The Kuwaitis had made a distress call, following which the teams swung into action and rescued them. There were no reports of injuries.
Car on fire: Firefighters extinguished fire that engulfed a vehicle in Wafra area on Tuesday. There were no reports of injuries and investigations revealed that an electric short circuit caused the fire.
Forged gate pass: The Vital Establishments Protection Force manning the Shuaiba Port have arrested a Kuwaiti man for attempting to enter the port using a forged gate pass, reports Al-Shahed daily. Without going into details the daily said the man has been handed over to the State Security police.
