My wife is working in a private firm for the last 3 years and her salary is KD 250. She has resigned with a proper notice of 3 months. Will she be entitled to any sort of indemnity and if so what will be the calculation?

Answer: If your wife has completed three years of service she is entitled to half the indemnity.
According to the law, she should get 15 days pay for each of the three years = 45 days.
But these 45 days must be divided by 26 and multiplied by KD 250 so the indemnity will be 45/26 x 250 = KD 432.700
