American, Kuwaiti & Indian trio caught doing drugs

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 13: Police have arrested three youths - a Kuwaiti, an American and an Indian — for consuming drugs, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
A security source said the Mubarak Al-Kabir patrolmen saw the three young men at a traffic signal. When the patrolmen passed their vehicle, the youths looked nervous.
The police then ordered the youth behind the wheel to pull over and discovered the trio was in a disoriented condition.
Police are said to have seized from their car a quantity of hashish.

Thief arrested: The Farwaniya police have arrested a thief for breaking into 12 houses during the Eid Al-Adha holidays, reports Al-Rai daily.
The daily added the suspect was arrested after one of the victims provided police the plate number of the suspect’s car.
Security sources say police put the suspect under surveillance for 48 hours and caught in the act while selling a piece of stolen furniture at the Friday market.
The daily said when the thief saw police approaching; he tried in vain to escape.

Masked robbers sought: Police are looking for masked persons who allegedly broke into a grocery shop in Salmiya and assaulted the Arab grocer and stole KD 150 cash, prepaid telephone cards worth KD 140 and cans of soft drinks, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to the grocer two men attacked him and escaped in a waiting car with the loot.
The grocer was rushed to the Mubarak Al-Kabir Hospital for treatment. He suffered injury to the head.

Indians in gang fight: Acting on information, police rushed to an area opposite the Al-Tahrir Tower and arrested a group of Indians for fighting, reports Al-Shahed daily.
The daily added some of them were armed with batons and sharp objects including knives.
One Indian who suffered a deep cut on the head and three others have been referred to the intensive care unit of a hospital. The others were taken to a police station for interrogation.
