Two motorbikes worth KD 900 stolen

KUWAIT CITY Nov 11: In their continuous campaign against criminals, security operatives in the course of Eid holiday raided several suspicious flats and arrested 100 individuals from both sexes, belonging to various nationalities.
According to sources, many of the suspects were referred to public prosecution, and others were obliged to sign undertakings and desist from visiting suspicious dens.

Liquor, drugs seized: A 30-year old citizen was apprehended by security operatives in Jleeb Shuyoukh with 4 bottles of local brew and 3 grams of heroin in his possession.
Security sources said the suspect was spotted in the area on foot late at night, so security officers called him for a search and found the illicit items. He was referred to the concerned authority without delay.

Bikes worth KD 900 stolen: Thieves managed to steal two motorbikes belonging to an Arab expatriate parked in front of his house, even though he had placed wheel locks on them.
In his complaint to policemen, the man said the bikes are worth KD 900. A case was registered for investigation.

Man acquitted of ‘forgery’: The Criminal Court headed by Judge Mohammed Al-Khalaf recently acquitted an unidentified person who had been accused of forging official documents, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
Earlier, the Public Prosecution had remanded the man to police custody for allegedly robbing work permits from the Jahra Labor Department — the place of his work.
The defense attorney Nawaf Mubarak Al-Shuraika argued in court there was no proof to accuse the man of committing the crime. He also told the court his client is innocent.

Two arrested for drugs:
The Farwaniya police have arrested two people — a Kuwaiti and a bedoun — for consuming drugs, reports Al-Anba daily.
The daily quoting security sources said an unidentified person informed the police that the men were consuming drugs inside their vehicle.
When police caught the men they found in their possession a piece of hashish.
The hashish and the ‘addicts’ have been referred to the General Department for Drug Control.
