KUWAIT CITY, Nov 11: The Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI), in coordination with the Ministry of Health (MoH), will record the health details of all citizens in their smart cards, reports Al-Anba daily.

High-level sources in the ministry said it is compiling all necessary information about each citizen’s health and will pass it to PACI. The step is aimed at solving the problem of loss of files in hospitals and health centers and to allow citizens to have a record of their health details.

Sources said the measure was taken following the meeting of Health Ministers of all GCC countries during which the decision was taken. GCC citizens can avail treatment in any of the member countries using the smart cards, added sources.
