KUWAIT CITY, Nov 11: Renowned Kuwaiti astronomer Dr Saleh Al-Ojairi has forecasted cold and cloudy weather, with chances of rainfall, especially at nights, on Sunday and Monday, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
He said Kuwait will continue to enjoy pleasant weather until Dec 9th and added that there would be rains intermittently. The temperatures will drop further by the end of this month, he said, adding it would be the right time to start wearing winter gear.

Director of Weather Forecast Unit at the Directorate General for Civil Aviation (DGCA) Mohammad Karam corroborated the forecast, saying the effect of moderate northwesterly winds was felt in the country Friday afternoon. He said the winds blowing at a speed of 35 km/hr would transform into southwesterly winds from Friday evening and will stay so until Monday. He said the weather will be windy and cloudy, with slim chances of rainfall on Sunday and Monday.
