15 young men, women caught drunk in Salmiya Raw material, over 300 bottles found in Khaitan liquor factory

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 10: The Farwaniya police acting on information recently raided an alcohol manufacturing ‘factory’ in Khaitan and seized 310 bottles of booze ready for sale, four barrels of raw material and took into custody for Asians, reports Al-Anba daily.
During interrogation the suspects are said to have admitted to the charge. They have been referred to the concerned authorities.

15 caught drunk: During a security campaign on the Restaurants Street in Salmiya on the third day of the Eid Al-Adha festival police have taken into custody 15 young men and women for drinking alcohol, reports Al-Anba daily.
Without going into details the daily said all those arrested have been referred to the concerned authorities.
Meanwhile, police have arrested an unidentified Kuwaiti man for consuming alcohol, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The arrest came during the Eid Al-Adha holidays. It has been reported the man was camping with his wife and children and his wife called the police because the man refused to listen to reason and drank alcohol beyond limit. The daily did not give more details.

Stabbed over parking: A Kuwaiti man has been detained for interrogation for allegedly stabbing a compatriot and causing him serious injury, reports Al-Shahed daily.
The incident happened inside the parking lot of a commercial complex in Salmiya. The men were allegedly arguing over right to park their vehicles. The victim has been taken to a hospital.

Bribers trapped:
Police have arrested three Egyptians for attempting to bribe a passport officer at the Salmi border post to help one of them leave the country because the man is wanted by law, reports Al-Shahed daily.
A police source said one of the Egyptians offered KD 1,500 to an employee to facilitate the departure of his brother and the employee pretended to have accepted the offer and informed his boss.
The Egyptians were caught red-handed while offering the money. They have been referred to the concerned authorities.
