Drunk boys, girl picked from stables, chalets Indian bus driver thrashes Filipino
KUWAIT CITY, Nov 9: Officers from the Criminal Security Unit, in their continuous campaign against violators of law and suspicious locations, have arrested 15 youths and a girl from various locations across the six governorates for consuming alcohol.
Sources said the suspects were picked from stables, chalets, and other suspicious flats. They have since been referred to the relevant authority for necessary action. The campaign is expected to continue over an indeterminate period.
Meanwhile, police are looking for an Indian driver of a public transport bus for assaulting a Filipino passenger and causing him serious injuries, reports Al-Rai daily.
A security source said the Filipino got into the bus and bought a ticket and when he realized the bus was not going to the desired destination, he asked the driver to give back his money.
The driver reportedly lost his temper, returned the money, got down from the bus and kicked and punched the passenger and drove off.
