KUWAIT CITY, Nov 9: An Ethiopian housemaid arrived in Rumaithiya police station, blood-stained, after the sponsor had beaten and broken her nose.
However, securitymen advised her to obtain a medical report and treatment, and then a case was registered. The sponsor will be called for questioning.

3 brothers held: Police have arrested three brothers in connection with financial frauds worth KD 179,000, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to security sources the brothers were picked up a Farwaniya Police Patrol on suspicion while driving along the Fifth Ring Road.
The daily added there were four persons in the car and when police checked their names on computer they discovered three of them (brothers) were wanted by law.
They have been referred to the concerned authorities.

Liquor traders held: Police have arrested three Asians for trading in alcohol, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
A police patrol on routine duty suspected three Asians who were leaning against a parked car in the parking lot of a residential building at an unidentified location. When they saw a police car, they ran on foot and the police chased and arrested them.
Police seized from the men three bottles of whisky and referred them and the booze to the authorities.
