Bedoun duo nabbed for robbing Asian expats in Hawalli Young, wanted Kuwaiti held with drug pills
KUWAIT CITY, Oct 31: Hawalli securitymen arrested two Bedouns who allegedly stole money from several Asian expatriates in the area. The duo allegedly snatched money from their victims by force. A case was registered.
Youth held: Police arrested a 20-year-old Kuwaiti youth in possession of 852 narcotic pills in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area. On checking records, police also realized that the youth was sentenced in absentia to two years imprisonment for impersonating a policeman. He was referred to authorities.
Ex-wife threatened: A Kuwaiti woman filed a complaint, accusing her ex-husband of beating and threatening her in South Surra area. She submitted a medical report to support her claims. The ex-husband will be summoned for interrogation.
Car stolen: A Kuwaiti woman reported the theft of her vehicle at Firdous Police Station. The woman said she had parked the vehicle in front of her house the previous night. Securitymen noted down details of the vehicle and circulated the information to all checkpoints.
Mechanic joy ride: A Kuwaiti woman filed a complaint against an Asian garage worker who took her vehicle for a joy ride and got involved in a traffic accident. The woman said she left the vehicle at the garage for repair work. The worker took out the vehicle at night time and met with an accident.
