Man sought for stealing cars at gunpoint From one stolen car to another
KUWAIT CITY, Oct 31: Police are looking for an unidentified motorist for stealing two vehicles at gunpoint. The man had crashed into a Kuwaiti woman’s vehicle in Sulaibiya area recently. After the collision, he forced an Asian motorist to stop, took his vehicle at gunpoint and escaped.
Investigations revealed that the vehicle he was driving at the time of the accident was reported stolen some time ago. He stole the vehicle from another Kuwaiti woman in Ardhiya area using the same strategy and a case was registered at that time. The weapon he used in the theft was recovered from the vehicle involved in the accident. Fingerprints were lifted from the vehicle and a case was registered.
Jump to safety: Two women — a Kuwaiti and a Saudi both believed to be 21 years old — and an Eritrean housemaid, 34, were injured while attempting to escape a fire inside their home in Sabah Al-Nasser.
The women allegedly jumped from a height and sustained fractures.
