‘Dusty winter expected’
KUWAIT CITY, Oct 31: Winter this year will be marked with dusty and fluctuating weather, Kuwaiti astronomer Dr Saleh Al-Ojairi told Al-Qabas daily, adding “the cold would be severe, especially at nights.” Referring to the dust wave that hit the country on Sunday, Al-Ojairi said it will continue for the next two days and “temperatures will drop remarkably, with maximum temperatures around 34 degrees Celsius and minimum around 17 degrees Celsius.”
According to Al-Ojairi, the weather will be warm during Eid Al-Adha holidays. He predicted that rains would start from Nov 9, and advised people to start wearing woolens from Nov 26 onwards.
