Rowdy youths harass, strip 3 girls naked in Hawalli mall Bomb hoax at girls school in Jahra

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 30: The Nugra police have arrested two youths, both believed to be criminals, for eve-teasing and tearing the clothes of three Arab girls because they did not give in to their mischief, at a shopping mall, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
According to eyewitness reports the youths were constantly harassing the victims and the latter criticized them in front of the people.
The youths got annoyed and allegedly tore off the clothes of the girls, following which they screamed for help when they were left with only undergarments on. Someone called the police and the suspects have been taken into custody.

Bomb hoax at girls school in Jahra: Securitymen and explosives experts rushed to Al-Mashael School for Girls in Jahra after one of its employees received a call from an unidentified person, who claimed a hand grenade has been planted in the school’s premises and it will explode soon.
The rescuers evacuated the schools building and guiding students, teachers and employees to safety, while the bomb squad searched the entire area thoroughly.  However, the squad realized it was a hoax call when they did not find any explosive material after combing the whole school.  High-ranking security officials were also at hand to supervise the search operation.
 A case was registered and investigations are ongoing to take the necessary action against the prank caller. 

2 held with drugs: The Mubarak Al-Kabir police have arrested two Kuwaitis for possessing and consuming drugs, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. According to reports the suspects were arrested for reckless driving along a road Messilah.
The daily added when the man behind the wheel was ordered to pull over, an officer saw the man in the passenger seat drop something (packet) on the ground through the car window as the officer walked to the vehicle to issue the motorist a citation.
The packet contained 5 narcotic pills and a piece of hashish which later turned out to be The two citizens were traveling in a car along Mesilla road and reckless driving led to their arrest.
The suspects have been handed over to the General Department for Drugs Control.

Diwaniya set afire: The Sulaibiya police have arrested an unidentified citizen of GCC country who is believed to be in his 20s for setting fire to the Diwaniya of his neighbor, reports Al-Rai daily.
The daily added the suspect was taken into custody after a finger of accusation was pointed at him by the victim (a bedoun).
The bedoun told police his son was involved in a fight with the suspect a few days prior to the incident. He also said the suspect burned down his Diwaniya in revenge. Police took the suspect into custody after firemen found a cigarette butt near the Diwaniya (the arsonist allegedly smokes the same type of cigarette).

Woman held drunk: Police have arrested an unidentified woman who was wanted by law in connection with 10 crimes and referred her to Salmiya Police Station, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to reports the woman was arrested for reckless driving in Salmiya and police discovered she was under the influence of alcohol.
