KUWAIT CITY, Oct 29: Police are looking for an unidentified man for attempting to rape an Indonesian woman, reports Al-Anba daily.
The woman lodged a complaint at Salmiya Police Station, saying a man wearing military uniform knocked at her door after midnight. She said she opened the door, thinking something wrong could have happened to her husband while going to his work place. Her husband is a male nurse and had night duty. The complainant said she screamed for help when the stranger, who appeared to be in his 30s, attempted to rape her and added that the man escaped as soon as she started screaming.

Counterfeit goods destroyed: As part of the efforts exerted by Customs General Department to clear out fake commodities of international trademark in the country, the committee in charge of sham products and spoilt items destroyed pens, CDs, watches, computers and children’s games recently. The committee chairman Mohammad Abdulrahman said the items are barred globally and cannot be auctioned after confiscation. He noted several fake commodities are impounded by the committee weekly, in collaboration with the relevant authorities. He also
appreciated the Kuwait Municipality for supervising the destruction of fake products.
