KUWAIT CITY, Oct 27: An unidentified maid and a driver working for a Kuwaiti family have been referred for interrogation for allegedly stealing KD 4,000 from the account of their female sponsor, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The security sources quoting the complainant said the maid stole the ATM card of her female sponsor and gave it to the driver of the neighboring house and the latter withdrew the money over a period of time.
The culprits are being held at the area police station.

Gift shops looted: The Mubarak Al-Kabir police have arrested a three-man gang of Kuwaitis for breaking into gift shops and stealing valuables, reports Al-Rai daily.
The daily quoting security sources said the suspects were arrested after several owners of the shops filed complaints with the local police.
According to reports some of these shops had installed security cameras and the suspects were taken into custody after the police saw the CCTV camera films.
The daily added one of the suspects was arrested in Sabah Al-Salem and during interrogation he denied the allegations. However, when he was shown the film he admitted to the act. The trio has been referred to the concerned authorities.
