KUWAIT CITY, Oct 26: Customs officers at Khabari Al-Awazem checkpoint foiled an attempt by a Pakistani heavy duty driver to smuggle 35,000 narcotic pills hidden inside a damaged vehicle he was transporting from Iraq.
Customs discovered during checking that 8 bags kept in the scrapped car contained 35,000 narcotic pills. The suspect, with the drugs, was taken to the concerned authority.

Peddler nabbed: An expatriate was apprehended by anti-narcotics men for using and peddling in drugs at the beginning of each camping season. This follows a tip-off the Directorate General of Drug Control received about his activities.
Armed with a warrant from Public Prosecution, the suspect was arrested with an unspecified quantity of the contraband, and he confessed to trading in narcotics. He also said a GCC national supplied the drugs. The suspect with the item was referred to the relevant authority.
