KUWAIT CITY, Oct 25: An Asian woman has filed a complaint with the Abu Halifa Police Station accusing a man, believed to be Indian, of attempting to kidnap her and stealing her handbag containing KD 70 and a cell phone, reports Al-Anba daily.
The complainant said she was walking along a road at dusk and the suspect approached her and attempted to push her in his vehicle. She added she screamed for help and the man drove off with her handbag.

‘Pay your wife alimony’ : The Personal Status Section of Appeals Court ordered a Kuwaiti man to pay KD 450 to support his wife monthly in catering for their children and housemaid plus accommodation, in addition to KD 500 each month for their children’s upbringing.
In a lawsuit filed on behalf of the wife by counselor Hassan Al-Ajmi, the plaintiff requested custody of their children and urged the court should compel the husband to pay their expenses from the date he stopped taking care of them. She also requested a car or KD 5,000 to buy one, with a driver that will be paid by the respondent.
