KUWAIT CITY, Oct 25: The General Traffic Department plan to replace the old number plates with a new one and the deadline is Nov 15, 2011, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily quoting knowledgeable sources.
The same sources said the old number plates should be handed over in exchange for new ones at the respective governorates.
The sources added the cars will be impounded for two months if owners fail to comply with the GTD directive.
