KUWAIT CITY, Oct 23: Two girls returning from a party were apprehended on Belajat Street in Salmiya late at night when security operatives discovered they were heavily intoxicated.
 Apparently, the girls aroused suspicion of the officers due to erratic manner their car was moving and were ordered to pull over for checking. The officers realized in the course of questioning the girls were not in normal condition, as they smelt of alcohol. They have since been referred to the relevant authority for necessary action.

Sister assaulted: A Kuwaiti woman told policemen in Hawalli that her son assaulted and caused severe injuries to her daughter over a minor disagreement. A rescue team rushed to the scene and managed to arrest the youth. A case was registered against him in Hawalli police station.

Officer beaten: A security officer was severely assaulted by a youth performing stunts with his vehicle on the Restaurants Street in Salmiya, as he was ordered by the officer to come out of his car for questioning. The youth was later arrested and referred to the Rumaithiya police station.

Youth arrested: Patrolmen from Hawalli nabbed a youth wanted for various criminal offenses during their routine duty in Salmiya area. The suspect has since been referred to the concerned authority for necessary action.

Bedoun in custody: A Bedoun was apprehended at a security checkpoint in Sulaibiya for his involvement in a KD 28,000 case.
Actually, the culprit had been convicted by a court in absentia and officers discovered the crime after checking his details on computer. He was sent to Public Prosecution without delay.
