‘Missing’ girl says … in love One stabbed as youths fight over a girl

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 21: The Hawalli police have finally arrested an unidentified young woman who is believed to be in her 20s on whom a missing persons report had been filed by her father one month ago at the Salmiya Police Station, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to reports the woman was arrested while shopping inside a commercial complex in Hawalli. She was buying dresses and a makeup set for her.
Following her arrest she was taken to the Salmiya Police Station where the complaint against her had been filed.
However, when the police summoned her father to take his daughter home, she refused to go and preferred to stay ‘outside’ for personal reasons.
She also told the police she is in love and gave police information about her boyfriend.
She has been detained for further interrogation and to know the reason why she is refusing to return to her home.

One stabbed as youths fight over a girl: A young Jordanian expatriate was stabbed and severely injured during a clash with a group of youths inside a commercial complex in Salmiya area.
Apparently, the youths were quarrelling over a girl when the victim was stabbed.
Acting on report, a team of paramedics accompanied securitymen to the scene to maintain order, and the injured boy was taken to the Mubarak Hospital for medical care.
The other members of the feuding party are said to have fled the scene before police arrived. A case was registered in Salmiya police station.
