Over 50 people thrash brothers

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 19: More than 50 people are said to have attacked and severely beaten two Kuwaiti brothers at the parking lot of one Motor Agency in Al-Rai area and the Operations Room had declined to respond to their call immediately.
Apparently, a group of individuals stopped the brothers and asked them to sell their vehicle by force. The mob started beating the brothers with batons and threatened to stab them when they refused their offer. The suspects fled the scene an hour before security forces arrived.
The brothers have since registered a case against the suspects and the Operations Room that delayed to rescue them in Ferdous police station.

Egyptian dies: An Egyptian expatriate died when sand collapsed on him at an under-construction site in Zahra area.
Sources said a team of rescue men rushed to the scene after the Operations Room had been notified of the accident. Upon arrival, the body was dug and referred to Forensics, as paramedics confirmed he had died three hours earlier. A case was registered.

‘She’s pregnant’: A Kuwaiti woman handed her housemaid over to security operatives in Ferdous police station after doctors confirmed the maid was 8 months pregnant. Investigation is in progress to know the partner.

Drugs seized: An Arab expatriate was nabbed by patrolmen in Salmiya area with a finger of hashish in his possession. The officers had seen the suspect walking and called him for checking when they discovered the contraband. He was referred to the relevant authority without delay.

Boy robs maid: Passersby pursued and referred a young boy who stole KD 20 from a housemaid at a Taima cooperative society to the concerned authority after he tried in vain to escape with the money.

Fight over parking:
Two Yemenis and an Egyptian expatriate engaged in a fight over a parking space in Khaitan area. The fighters were arrested and referred to a police station by security operatives.
