Obtaining Of Visit Visa For A Child Born in Kuwait For Banned Nationals

My daughter was born and raised in Kuwait. I am a Pakistani. But recently when I applied for a visit visa for her, the Immigration Department rejected the application. Whom can I approach?

Name withheld

Answer:
If your child was born in Kuwait and you have the birth certificate you can approach the Interior Ministry in Sharq. One of the undersecretaries has been given the authority to scrutinize each application and sanction a visit visa if he feels the grounds are compassionate enough. Please remember this is only for a child born in Kuwait.

legal opinionSrivi | 10/18/2011 2:19:30 PM Whether arabtimes or Srivi, it is only a legal opinion, about your case. The final decision, by jawazat manager to approve your visa, is final. You cannot believe any legal opinion, till you get approval or rejection from jawazat manager. I challenge you, you cannot get visa on banned nationalities, in any jawazat, without any special consideration. Visa was banned long back. There is no special previlege, for who born in kuwait, for banned nationalities. arabtimes legal opinion is only try ur luck. it is not final decision as approval.

Who should we believe?Muhammad Asif Iqbal | 10/18/2011 10:21:13 AM Most of the the time Srivi gave discriminated statement which is differ from Arabtimes own Legal Clinic answer. Who should we believe?
birth rightSrivi | 10/16/2011 2:17:28 PM Just your daughter born in kuwait, did not mean that she has a birth right for visa.. Only for kuwaitis, have birth rights to get visa or residency. Once pakistani visa banned, it is banned for all, whether born in kuwait or born in pakistan, it is applicable to all. You dont have any birth rights, just because born in kuwait. It is not allowed, even you apply in sharq office, till the visa ban lifted, for security reasons. impossible.
