From jokes to fisticuffs Youths brawl in mall

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 15: A 30-year-old Kuwaiti suffered a stab wound in his left hand when a group of youths engaged in a public brawl inside a famous shopping complex in Salmiya.
Securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location after the Operations Room received information on the fight. The injured was referred to Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital. Police are now looking for the others involved in the fight as they fled from the scene after sensing the presence of security officers.
Preliminary investigations revealed the youths exchanged blows after sharing jokes that went awry.
In an unrelated incident, a 22-year-old Kuwaiti got injuries, including some stab wounds, in different parts of his body after engaging in a fistfight with a number of youths in a commercial complex in Salmiya. He was found in a pool of blood by the paramedics, who rushed him to a nearby hospital.
A 36-year-old Syrian sustained a fracture in his left knee when he got involved in a public brawl with a number of expatriates behind a shopping mall in Salmiya. He was taken to Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital.
Two unidentified persons suffered multiple injuries after engaging in a fistfight with eight others in a commercial complex in Jahra. They were referred to the nearest hospital and investigations are underway to determine the actual circumstances leading to the fight.
