KUWAIT CITY, Oct 14: The South Surra police have arrested an Arab man for raping an Asian maid working for a Kuwait family, reports Al-Dar daily.
The maid’s sponsor has filed a case against the suspect who works at the cooperative society in the area.
In his complaint the sponsor said he tried to come to terms with the culprit by urging him to confess the crime but he refused and did not show up for work. He was finally picked up from his home.

Wanted bedoun held: The Hawalli police have arrested a bedoun man who had been sentenced in absentia for 11 years imprisonment, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
According to reports the man was wanted by law in several cases including three cases of theft and one state security case.
The daily added the suspect was initially arrested for harassing female students of the Business Institute in Hawalli Thursday morning.
