Alert police foil bid to kidnap girl from school 4 hurt in Nepali, Arab gang war in Jleeb

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 11: Securitymen arrested two youths for trying to kidnap a girl from a school in Oyoun.
According to the security officers, they noticed the suspicious behavior of the youths, so they closely monitored their movements. One of them tried to divert the attention of the officers by performing car stunts, while the other tried to get the attention of the girl.
Due to the vigilance of the officers, they succeeded in foiling the kidnap attempt. The youths were referred to the relevant security department for questioning and other legal action.

4 hurt in gang war: A public brawl, involving 20 Nepalese and Arabs in front of a mosque in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, caused injuries to four of them and one is said to be in serious condition due to the deep stab wounds he suffered.
Securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location immediately after the Operations Room received information from an eyewitness. The injured were referred to Farwaniya Hospital and four others were taken to a police station for questioning.
The others fled from the scene upon sensing police presence. No details were provided on the circumstances leading to the fight.

Oil pipe thieves nabbed: Securitymen arrested a Syrian and a Bangladeshi for stealing oil pipes from a project site in Qashaniya.
While patrolling on Abdally Motorway, the securitymen got suspicious when they noticed a half-lorry full of oil pipes, so they signaled for the driver to stop for inspection. This led to the discovery that the oil pipes were stolen and the driver and his companion were supposed to sell the pipes at the Amghara Scrapyard.
During interrogation, the suspects admitted to the crime, so they were referred to the concerned security department for prosecution.

Two dune buggies stolen: A Kuwaiti informed the Kabad Police Station that an unidentified person had stolen two buggies worth KD 3,000 from his animal pen in the area.
The Kuwaiti told police he got suspicious when he found the door of the animal pen broken, so he checked the items inside and to his dismay, he discovered the thief had taken his two buggies. A case was registered and investigations are ongoing to arrest the suspect.

Robbery in Qairawan home: A Kuwaiti lodged a complaint at Qairawan Police Station, claiming some unknown persons have broken into his house and carted away electric appliances and equipment worth hundreds of dinars.
The securitymen lifted fingerprints to identify the culprits. Investigations are in progress to arrest the suspects.
