Police nab 2 young men dressed as women Boy in ‘niqab’
KUWAIT CITY, Oct 10: Police arrested two young men for cross-dressing in Hawalli area. Police patrols on routine duty grew suspicious of two ‘girls’ and on inspection, came to know that they were actually men wearing women’s clothing and make up. The cross-dressers were referred to authorities for further action.
Boy in ‘niqab’: The Mubarak Al-Kabir police have referred an unidentified youth to the Sabah Al-Salem Police Station. He was arrested in front of a primary school wearing abaya and niqab (veil), reports Al-Rai daily.
According to the reports the suspecting parents complained to police when they saw the ‘girl in disguise’ in front of the school.
When police arrested the suspect they discovered it was a man in woman’s clothing. Investigations are underway to know the motives for the disguise.
Ruckus in salon: A youth allegedly abused the employees of a ladies salon and tried to beat one of them following an argument over the amount to be paid for certain beauty services. It is not clear on whose behalf the youth was paying. He was referred to Salmiya Police Station.
Fraudster held: Police arrested a Kuwaiti man, who was sentenced to jail in a KD 22,000 fraud case, at a checkpoint in Hawalli area. He was referred to authorities for further action.
