Indian held entering on forged passport

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 3:The Hawalli police have arrested an Indian man for entering the country on forged passport, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The daily quoting security sources said the arrest came following a tip-off from an unidentified person who informed the police that the man had been deported from the country one year ago. Acting on this information police put the man under surveillance and discovered he was not only a bootlegger but also a gambler and forger. The suspect was taken into custody while driving his wife to the Kuwait International Airport.

Whisky seized: Customs officers recently foiled an attempt by an unidentified person to smuggle 27 bottles of whisky from an unidentified European country, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
According to reports the bottles were found hidden inside an engine oil shipment. The daily added legal action is being taken against the importer.
