KUWAIT CITY, Oct 3: 17 Asian girls absconding from their sponsors were arrested from a flat in Hawalli area, following a tip-off security operatives received in that regard. The girls have since been referred to the concerned authority for necessary action.

Drunkard caught: A 36-year old Kuwaiti citizen was nabbed by police on Belajat Street in Salmiya for riding a tinted-glass vehicle, and under the influence of liquor.
A case was registered against the citizen in Salmiya police station.

3 hurt in fight: Three people were seriously injured when a group of youths from various nationalities engaged in a public brawl inside a commercial complex in Hawalli area. Based on this report, a team of paramedics accompanied securitymen to the scene and referred the injured people to Mubarak Hospital for medical attention, and the others were taken into custody to determine the cause of the fight.

Cash stolen: An Egyptian expatriate filed a case against thieves who broke the glass of a vehicle he parked in Hasawi area and stole KD 270 cash. A case was registered in Jleeb Shuyoukh police station.
