KUWAIT CITY, Oct 2: A Kuwaiti man and his son beat up an Egyptian expatriate who was allegedly harassing the Kuwaiti’s daughter. The father and son kept beating the Egyptian until he collapsed on the ground. The Egyptian was referred to hospital.

Newborn found: A newborn baby girl was found abandoned near a mosque in south Jahra. A Kuwaiti man found the baby and notified the authorities. The baby was in stable condition and was referred to Jahra Hospital. Securitymen are looking for her parents.

Car broken into: Police are looking for a thief who stole KD 700 from the vehicle of a GCC national. The vehicle was parked in front of the victim’s house when the theft occurred.
The victim filed a complaint at Sulaibikhat Police Station, saying the thief broke the glass pane of the vehicle to steal the money.

Bedoun robs Asian: Police arrested a Bedoun for stealing KD 150 from an Asian expatriate in Jahra area. The victim recognized the suspect in a legal lineup. Investigations are going on to find out whether or not the suspect was involved in other thefts in the area.
