No truth in rape of two girls by father: report Petty cash for pleasure

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 29: A case which had attracted public cry when two teenage girls accused their father of raping for five years has been proven wrong, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The daily added when the daughters accused their father of raping them they were referred to Forensics and a report showed they were still virgin.
Investigation officers said the elder daughter had claimed that the father had been having sex with her and her younger sibling for five years.
The accused is a 50 year-old citizen and is married to an Asian woman who has given birth to his eight children.

Officer did nothing:  In a strange incident in what the Al-Shahed daily called ‘free for all’ a group of youths humiliated and beat a Kuwaiti man one week ago at the Adan Hospital as a police officer stood with folded hands and watched the ‘fun’, reports the daily.
The daily claims it has a video recording of the entire incident.
The daily said the incident happened inside the Casualty Ward of the Hospital. The daily also said a woman who came to the rescue of the Kuwaiti was also beaten by the gang.
Meanwhile, the Al-Anba daily said the officer who appears in the said video has been referred for interrogation by the Ministry of Interior.
The daily also said the woman who went to the rescue of the victim is the man’s wife and the youths who beat the victim are his relatives.

Fight in police station: A group of youths exchanged blows at a police station in Qairawan, reports Al-Anba daily.
The youths were at the station following a two-vehicle collision, said sources, adding they had a hot exchange of words which soon developed into a fist fight.
A case was registered against all the youths involved.

Petty cash for pleasure: Some senior officers from the Ministry of Electricity and Water are allegedly spending the ministry petty cash money for pleasure, reports Al-Shahed daily.
Sources say the petty cash purse has approximately KD 3,000 and this money is for use for emergency expenditure but the accused officers are said to be spending the money on women - for late night entertainment with their girlfriends. The daily did not give more details.
