Kuwaiti held in Egypt for ‘swindling’ people
KUWAIT CITY, Sept 28: The Egyptian security authorities have arrested a Kuwaiti man, identified only as S.A., for swindling Egyptians and stealing more than two million Egyptian pounds, reports Al-Anba daily.
According to reports the man owns an import and export company and he reportedly purchased goods from the victims and paid them by post dated cheques and after receiving the goods kept changing the location of his company.
During interrogation the man is said to have admitted to the crime. He has been referred to the Public Prosecution.
Phone thief held: Police have arrested a 17-year-old bedoun for stealing cell phones from people visiting cafés in Hawalli, reports Al-Anba daily. According to reports several people complained to the police and the man was caught red-handed while selling one of the stolen cell phones to an unidentified person. During interrogation he admitted to stealing 20 cell phones.
