Pakistani beats up compatriot in grocery over earlier dispute
KUWAIT CITY, Sept 27: A Pakistani filed a complaint against a compatriot for beating him inside his grocery store at an undisclosed location.
According to the complainant, his compatriot entered the store and they had a heated argument due to an earlier dispute. He was surprised when the other suddenly attacked him, so he immediately reported the incident to a nearby police station.
A case was registered and police will summon the other Pakistani to verify the complaint.
Kuwaiti held drunk: A Kuwaiti was nabbed in Mubarak Al-Kabeer for consuming alcohol. While patrolling the area, the securitymen asked a Kuwaiti to stop for inspection. They noticed his unusual behavior, so the officers searched him and the car thoroughly. This resulted in the discovery of several bottles of local alcohol. He was referred to the concerned security department for prosecution.
Drug addict in mishap: A Bedoun was arrested for consuming drugs when he got involved in a traffic accident recently in Naseem.
After receiving information on a three-vehicle collision, a team of securitymen rushed to the location and they noticed the confused state of one of the motorists, a Bedoun, involved in the accident. It turned out the Bedoun was under the influence of drugs and he had caused the accident.
He was referred to the relevant security department for the necessary legal action.
2 held with drugs: Policemen arrested two youths for the possession of 20 narcotic pills and a roll of hashish.
The officers noticed the erratic movement of a vehicle in Mubarak Al-Kabeer area, so they signaled for the driver to pull over. Upon approaching the car, the officers noticed the driver and his companion — both youths — looked agitated. This prompted the officers to check the car thoroughly, leading to the discovery of 20 narcotic pills and a roll of hashish.
The youths were referred to the concerned security department for interrogation and other necessary legal action.
