Fire burns to death Iranian expat working in workshop

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 25: An Iranian expatriate caught fire and died while working inside a workshop in Hawalli.
Sources said the 38-year old man started running as soon as he caught fire, and died in Mubarak Hospital after firemen put out the fire and paramedics referred him for medical attention. A case was registered.

2 held with pills: Two youths were arrested by patrolmen along King Fahad Motorway with 12 narcotic pills in their possession.
Sources said patrolmen ordered the youths to stop for checking and found the contraband inside their vehicle.
They were referred to Public Prosecution.

Cash stolen: A worker at a restaurant filed a case in Abdullah Al-Mubarak police station and reported that thieves broke open a safe and stole KD 50 cash.
The complainant said he came to work early morning and discovered the theft. A case was registered.

Absconder caught: Policemen patrolling Kabad area apprehended an Asian expatriate for absconding from his sponsor.
The officers are said to have spotted the man on foot and asked for his Civil ID, then they discovered the sponsor had reported him missing. He was referred to the relevant authority.

Pen looted
: A Kuwaiti citizen filed a case in Kabad police station against thieves that raided his livestock pen and stole electrical appliances.
A case was registered for investigation.
