I want to get a visit visa for my niece (daughter of my sister). Will the Immigration Department issue me the visa? My salary is KD 250 as written on the Azan Amal (work permit) with Mandub Mabiaat as my profession. I am Indian.

Answers: Recently the Ministry of Interior passed a decision allowing expatriates having good jobs — like engineers, doctors etc — and earning at least KD 500 to get visit visas for their second-degree relatives. So if you don’t meet their requirements it is unlikely that you will be able to get a visit visa for your niece but there is no harm in trying.
