KUWAIT CITY, Sept 16: An Ethiopian maid who poured boiling water on her Indonesian colleague at work has been arrested by the police, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
According to a security source, the Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior received a call from the female sponsor after she heard screams for help from her Indonesian maid.
When police rushed to the home of the caller in Sabah Al-Nasser they found the victim in pain suffering from first degree burns all over her body.
The woman has been admitted to the intensive care unit of the Farwaniya Hospital by paramedics. The Ethiopian maid has been arrested and referred for interrogation.

Boy sodomized: Police are looking for three unidentified youths for kidnapping and raping a teenager, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to reports the suspects forced the boy into their vehicle and drove him to Kabad where they sodomized him and dumped him from where they had picked him.
The victim, a Syrian citizen, reported the incident to his father and the latter filed a complaint with the Salmiya Police Station. The father has also given police details about the suspects based on the description given by his son and also the car plate number.

Worker’s finger cut: A Bangladeshi man, blood dripping from his hand was rushed to the Jahra Hospital for treatment, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
According to reports the victim works for a restaurant in Jahra and his hand got stuck in a meat mincer. He reportedly lost one finger and caused injury to two other fingers. The incident happened Thursday evening.
According to a security source as soon as the Operations Department of the Interior Ministry received a report on the incident security patrols, technical rescue center men and medical emergency personnel rushed to the place and took the victim to the hospital.
A case has been registered at the area police station.
