Indian woman collapses, dies near Abu Halifa police station Bedoun stabbed in Jleeb co-op fight
KUWAIT CITY, Sept 15: An Indian woman was found dead on a road near Abu Halifa Police Station on Thursday.
The woman had collapsed on the ground and passers-by thought she fainted. Acting on information, paramedics and securitymen rushed to the scene and realized that she had died. Her remains were referred to Forensics to establish the cause of her death. A case was registered.
Old dispute: A 19-year-old youth fractured his nose during a fight that broke out between two groups of youngsters in Taima area. Both groups met in the parking lot of a school to resolve an old dispute but things didn’t work out and they ended up exchanging punches.
Bedoun stabbed: A Bedoun was stabbed four times during a fight he had with an unidentified person in a cooperative society in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area. Paramedics had found him lying unconscious in a pool of blood and quickly referred him to the intensive care unit of Farwaniya Hospital. A case was registered and police are looking for the culprit.
Dead drunk: Police arrested a Kuwaiti man, 40, for consuming alcohol and referred him to authorities.
Police and paramedics had rushed to a place in Mishref area on receiving information about a man lying ‘dead’ inside his vehicle. After physical examination, police, however, learnt that the man had passed out.
Theft bid foiled: A Kuwaiti man filed a complaint at Sulaibikhat Police Station, saying he saw a thief trying to steal a door from a mosque in the area. He added that the thief ran away on seeing him, leaving the door behind. Fingerprints were lifted from the scene and investigations are going on.
