Bid to bribe officer by Egyptians

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 10: Two Egyptians were arrested for bribing a Customs officer at the Salmi Border to facilitate procedures for the escape of a compatriot, who has been banned from traveling for his involvement in some cases.
Security sources revealed the two Egyptians offered KD 1,500 to the Customs officer in exchange for helping their compatriot get out of the country. Sources said the suspects are now detained at Taima Police Station.

B’deshi hurt: A Bangladeshi man suffered multiple injuries when a compatriot beat him in Farwaniya.
Securitymen and medical emergency workers rushed to the location after the Operations Room received a call from one of those who witnessed the incident.
The rescuers found the Bangladeshi bleeding profusely, so they took him to Farwaniya Hospital.
A case was registered and a man-hunt for the assailant, who fled from the scene after sensing police presence, has started.

Two in fight: A 28-year-old Egyptian sustained injuries in different parts of his body after engaging in a fistfight with an unidentified man in Hawally. Security sources revealed the two men had a heated argument that escalated into a fistfight. The injured was taken to Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital, while the other man was referred to a police station for questioning and other necessary legal action.
