Alleged affair with Bedoun’s wife is linked to attack on male nurse

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 9: After intensive investigations the personnel from the Criminal Investigation Department, Capital governorate are said to have arrested the bedoun who had stabbed a male Kuwaiti nurse four times with a kitchen knife inside the Al-Bahr Orthopedic Center, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
A source added the culprit was arrested soon after his father was summoned by the Criminal Investigation Department for interrogation.
During interrogation the culprit said he stabbed the nurse because he suspected him of having an affair with his wife.
He also said he had learned from undisclosed sources that his wife’s relation with the victim was what he called ‘more than a colleague’.
The bedoun has been referred to the Prosecution for further interrogation.

Man steals perfumes: Assistant director of Central Market at the Sulaibikhat Cooperative Society has filed a complaint with the area police station accusing an Arab man of stealing perfumes worth KD 20, reports Al-Anba daily.
The man was arrested by the employees of the market after he was spotted hiding the loot among his clothes.
A theft case has been registered against the man and he has been referred to the concerned authorities for interrogation.

Woman steals cell phones
: Police have arrested an unidentified woman for stealing two expensive cell phones from a shop in Nugra, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The suspect who was seated in the car allegedly claimed she is pregnant and requested the Asian salesman to show her the latest model of cell phones.
After taking the phones the woman reportedly drove off. The salesman noted down the car plate number and informed the police.

1,050 citation issued:
The Hawalli traffic police in just one hour are said to have issued 1,050 citations against reckless motorists and violators of traffic laws, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The daily added the campaign was launched upon instructions of the Assistant Undersecretary for Traffic Affairs Major-General Dr Mustapha Al-Zabi following complaints from several people that the motorists were making stunts and driving recklessly putting at risk the lives of other road users.
The daily added during the campaign several people were caught for driving without license, expired car registration documents, etc.
Car which were found not road worthy have been impounded and towed to the Ministry of Interior garage.
