KUWAIT CITY, Sept 8: An unidentified Asian man is said to have committed suicide inside his sponsor’s home in a suburb of Sabah Al-Nasser by drinking a poisonous substance, reports Al-Rai daily.
Sources said the Kuwaiti sponsor called the Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior when he saw the man sprawled on the floor with foam oozing from his mouth.
Personnel from the Criminal Investigation Department and paramedics rushed to the spot and referred the remains to Forensics.
Meanwhile, the Criminal Investigations Department has identified the man whose corpse was found near a building in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, reports Al-Anba daily.
Police records show the victim arrived in Kuwait two weeks ago.
He was employed by a cleaning company and his papers to obtain a residence permit were being processed.
Police are looking for the killer to establish the motive for the murder. However, police believe there may have been an enmity between the suspect and the victim before the latter arrived to Kuwait.
