Indian woman, delivery boy mugged, stabbed

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 5: Police are looking for two people for attacking an Indian woman who is believed to be in her thirties and stealing from her KD 150, reports Alam Alyawm daily.
The woman in her complaint to the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh Police Station said the incident happened when she was walking along a street.
Two men driving an American car pulled over and ordered her to hand over her wallet and when she refused, they got out of the vehicle, beat her, snatched the bag from her hand and escaped.
In a similar incident, police are looking for unidentified teenagers for beating an Indian man working for a home delivery fast food restaurant, reports Alam Alyawm daily.
According to the complaint filed with the police the victim was on his way to deliver food to an unidentified person in Jahra and the suspects reportedly blocked his way, attacked him with sharp objects and one of them stabbed him in the shoulder and back.
Then they snatched the food packet, his cell phone and money and escaped from the scene.

Shall I get him a new leg?: Police have arrested four Kuwaitis for assaulting a physiotherapist, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to reports the victim was treating their father and they thought the man was making fun of him.
A police source said the doctor was treating the man who had earlier had a fracture on the leg and allegedly jokingly said: “What shall I do with him? Shall I get him a new leg?” At this point the sons reportedly took it as an offence and pounced on the man and beat him.
The sons have been arrested and referred to the concerned authorities. The doctor has submitted a medical report showing injuries on his body.

Kuwaiti swindled:
Police are looking for an unidentified expatriate who has cheated a Kuwaiti man to the tune of KD 20,000, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
According to reports the suspect convinced the victim to import goods from Thailand and China and after receiving the money disappeared.

Car, cash gone: Police are looking for an unidentified person for stealing the car of a Kuwaiti man, reports Al-Anba daily.
The daily added the man had just withdrawn KD 1,200 from a bank branch and went home leaving the money in an envelope in the car. When he came out of the house he was shocked to find someone had stolen his car and the money. A case has been registered with the Jahra Police Station.

You can’t do that:
An unidentified youth who picked up a fight with the owner of a retail clothes shop inside the Al-Rai Commercial Complex has been arrested by police, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The daily quoting security sources said the youth wanted to try clothes in a ladies fitting room and when the owner refused to let the youth in, he allegedly picked a fight with him.
